After the Storm.

We asked for rain and we got it! A big storm came over the country. Yesterday afternoon the sky turned black and all the rain we wanted came out at once. Roads were flooded and covered with branches and fallen trees. When we came home the hall was soaked and the laundry was flown of the line in the mud. I lost some tomatoes and peppers in the garden but some people lost their roof.
To see how it looked like, here's a video-link from the news :

STORM

and these pictures are from after the storm

Wondreful, life giving rain...but way too much in a short time!

Flax...we don't grow flax here, but I have have been curious about it. Doesn't flax produce linen?

Stopping by for the first time. I recently joined the Bloggerette Sorority and wanted to meet some of the 'sisters'.

My blog door is always open for new friends. Drop by, help yourself to some tea and cookies and meet my 6 dogs.

God bless.
